Urgent Treatment Centres

The Annapolis Community Health Centre Urgent Treatment Centre will be closed on Monday, March 16 and will reopen at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17.

Emergency Department

The Emergency Department at Hants Community Hospital in Windsor will be closed at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 15 and will reopen at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 16. 

Virtual urgent care is available with regular hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston closed as of 7:10 p.m.this evening due to a staff shortage. It will reopen at 8 a.m. on March 17.

Virtual urgent care is available in the emergency department at Glace Bay Hospital on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department means some parking in the front, north parking lot (near the School of Nursing) will be temporarily closed. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.
