7 Service Statuses, Closures, and Cancellations
Emergency Department
The All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed.
Virtual urgent care will be available onsite from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.
Emergency Department
Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department in Canso is temporarily closed and will reopen on Friday, September 4 at 12 p.m. (noon).
Virtual urgent care is available onsite Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.; Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m.
Emergency Department
Guysborough Memorial Hospital emergency department is closed until Saturday, Aug. 22 at 8 a.m.
The department is also closed:
- Saturday, Aug. 22 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, Aug. 23 at 8 a.m.

Thursday, Aug. 27 at 7 a.m. to Friday, Aug. 28 at 8 a.m.
Virtual urgent care is available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Emergency Department
Strait Richmond Hospital emergency department in Evanston is temporarily closed and will reopen on Sunday, Aug. 23 at 8 a.m. It will be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily from Sunday, Aug. 23 until Friday, Aug. 28. The department will close on Friday, Aug. 28 at 10 p.m. and reopen on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 8 a.m.

The emergency department at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg is temporarily closed and will reopen on Saturday, August 22 at 7:30 a.m.
Virtual urgent care is available daily from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m.

The emergency department at Roseway Hospital in Shelburne is temporarily closed and will reopen on Friday, August 21 at 8:00 a.m.
Virtual urgent care is available daily from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., even at times when the emergency department is closed.
All Clinics, Programs and Services
Construction on the new Yarmouth Regional Hospital Emergency Department means some parking in the front, north parking lot (near the School of Nursing) will be temporarily closed. Please plan for extra time when coming for an appointment. Learn more here.
