We provide care for everyone. This clinic offers inclusive, accessible sexual health services for residents with or without a primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner).
This clinic does not offer abortion services. This clinic does offer personalized prescriptions for birth control but does not have birth control in clinic. If you would like to schedule an abortion or are interested in learning more about medical and procedural abortion options, call the Reproductive Options and Services (ROSE) Clinic (previously called the Nova Scotia Women’s Choice Clinic) toll free at 1-833-352-0719.
Services include pap tests, STI testing, as well as IUD and Nexplanon services. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 902-956-1550 and leaving a message. The clinic will call back with an appointment time.

This clinic offers inclusive, accessible sexual health services for residents with or without a primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner).
Services include pap tests, STI testing, birth control, prenatal care, perimenopause/postmenopausal care, mammogram results for those without a provider, and non-surgical abortion up to 9 weeks gestation.
Please note: This clinic does not offer walk-in services. All visits must be booked in advance. Please call us directly at 902-752-8643. Our team will place you in a call queue. You may be booked directly or triaged by a nurse for same-day or pre-booked care.
This clinic is co-located with East Side Health Centre and the Primary Care Clinic.

- The Sexual Health Clinic is located to the right of the entrance hallway. You’ll pass the East Side reception window first on your left - keep going! Our Sexual Health Clinic team will greet you just ahead on the right.
This clinic does not provide hormone replacement therapy, birth control options, or general health assessments unrelated to STIs.

Appointments will be available 48 hours in advance, they are separated by symptomatic and asymptomatic (no symptoms). Phone lines will remain open on clinic days between 1 and 3 p.m., if you need to speak with a nurse or require assistance in booking.
"Symptomatic/with health care provider" appointments
We offer in-person physician assessments and treatments of STIs for those with symptoms or questions.
You should request a "Symptomatic/with health care provider" if you require the following:
- Testing for yeast or bacterial vaginosis
- Vaccines
- Require assistance swabbing
- PREP information/referral
- Seeing a Nurse or Physician
"Asymptomatic/without health care provider" appointments
If you only want screening and have no concerns that require you to see a physician, please select “no symptoms option.”
We have a dedicated phlebotomist on our team, who will draw blood for STBBI during your appointment. "
How do I find the clinic?
Enter through the main entrance of the Dickson Building, then take the elevator to the 5th floor. Turn right off the elevator and we are the desk right in front of you.
