The Northern Shared Chronic Pain Service offers 9 week interdisciplinary Persistent Pain Groups at each of the four clinics -  Antigonish, New Glasgow, Amherst and Truro.  Sessions are held in the fall, winter and spring.  Referral by a physician or primary care provider is required.  For more information about the Persistent Pain Group sessions or the referral process, please contact the program coordinator at 1-800-270-4776 x3312.

To get an appointment at this clinic, call 902-473-2272 between 1 and 3 p.m. on Monday and Thursday and the nurse will ask you a few questions to determine if you need to be seen and give you an appointment for that evening*. 

*At this time we can only book same-day appointments.

How do I find the clinic?

Enter through the main entrance of the Dickson Building, then take the elevator to the 5th floor. Turn right off the elevator and we are the desk right in front of you.
