The Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program is made up of many services and teams. It provides services to persons who have sustained an acquired brain injury across the continuum of care from inpatient acute care and  inpatient rehabilitation, to community living.

An ABI is defined as an injury in the brain that occurs after birth and may include stroke, traumatic brain injury as well as concussion, infections, brain tumors, or lack of oxygen to the brain. The cornerstone of care is an organized, programmatic approach to interdisciplinary assessment, treatment & education for ABI survivors and their families.
