Nova Scotia Cancer Care Centres
Nova Scotia Cancer Care program offers programs and services in two adult cancer centres as well as several community cancer clinics across the province. The two Cancer Care Centres are located in Sydney and Halifax.
Both of these centres provide a full range of cancer programs and services including: medical, radiation, gynecology, hematology, treatment and follow-up. They have a multidisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to help patients and their families cope with the physical, emotional and financial impact of cancer and its treatment.
QEII Cancer Centre
The QEII Cancer Care Centre is located at the Dickson Building, VG site, QEII in Halifax. In addition to cancer programs and services provided in Halifax, the centre also provides chemotherapy treatments, consultation and follow-up services at community cancer clinics in New Glasgow, Kentville, and Yarmouth.
Cape Breton Cancer Centre
The Cape Breton Cancer Centre is located at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney. In addition to cancer programs and services provided in Sydney, the centre also provides some chemotherapy treatments, consultation and follow-up services at community cancer clinics in Antigonish and Inverness.
