Emergency Department

Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency dept will be closed Mon., July 7 at 10am-Mon.; July 21 at 12pm. Virtual urgent care: Mon. & Tues., 8am-6:45pm; Wed., 8am-2:30pm & Thurs.-Sun., 8am-6:45pm. Canso Medical Clinic: open Mon., July 14-Fri., July 18, 9am-4:30pm. Call 902-366-2633 for appt. Urgent treatment clinic: Sat., July 19 & Sun., July 20, 9am-5pm. Call 902-266-3268 for same-day appt.

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Guysborough Memorial Hospital will be closed:

  • Monday, July 7 at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, July 9 at 8 a.m.
  • Thursday, July 10 at 7 a.m. until Friday, July 11 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Hours subject to change. Patient registration ends 30 minutes before closing.

Digby General Hospital emergency department is closed at 4a.m. Sunday, July 6 and is closed Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8.

Virtual urgent care is available daily (Mon-Sun) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Emergency Department

Roseway Hospital emergency department is closed at 3 p.m. Friday, July 4 and is closed Sat., Sun., and Mon. It RE-OPENS Tuesday, July 8 at 8 a.m. 

Virtual urgent care is available daily (Mon-Sun) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Emergency Department

Queens General Hospital emergency department is closed at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 4 and is closed Sat. & Sun as usual. It re-opens Monday evening, July 7 at 6 p.m.

Virtual Urgent Care is available daily (Mon-Sun) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

Fishermen's Memorial Hospital emergency department is OPEN 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Fri. July 4, Sat. July 5 and Sun. July 6. (closed at noon and reopens 7:30 a.m. next day)

Virtual urgent care is available daily (Mon-Sun) from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., even when the emergency department is closed.

North Cumberland Health Care Centre's Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) in Pugwash is temporarily closed Friday, July 4 at 8 a.m. to Monday, July 7 at 8 a.m.  Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

All Saints Springhill Hospital's Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed. Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.

(Musquodoboit Harbour, NS)

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital in Musquodoboit Harbour will be closed from 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 25 and will reopen on Thursday, June 26 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care is open from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Emergency Department

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed:

  • Saturday, July 5 at 5 p.m. until Sunday, July 6 at 8 a.m.
  • Sunday, July 6 at 5 p.m. until Monday, July 7 at 8 a.m.
  • Wednesday, July 9 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, July 10 at 8 a.m.
  • Friday, July 11 at 7 a.m. until Saturday, July 12 at 8 a.m.
