Starting Saturday, December 14, 2024, the entrance to the QEII Halifax Infirmary Emergency Department has changed to 1840 Bell Road. Learn more.

 

Please plan for extra travel time when coming to the QEII Halifax Infirmary. As of February 18, the easternmost, northbound lane of Robie Street will be closed for the duration of the Halifax Infirmary Expansion Project, leaving two lanes open. Expect potential delays and consider alternative routes when possible.

Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital emergency department is closed on Sunday, Feb. 16 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Queens General Hospital emergency department is closed at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 16 and re-opens Monday, February 17 at 8 a.m. 

 Virtual Urgent Care is available at Queens General Hospital daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Patients accepted up to 60 minutes before closing.

The Twin Oaks Memorial Hospital Emergency Department will be closed today, Friday, Feb. 14. It will reopen Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7 a.m.

The Hants Community Hospital Emergency Department will close today, Thursday, February 13 at 8 p.m. and will reopen tomorrow morning (February 14) at 7 a.m.

Roseway Hospital emergency department is closed from 3 p.m. Friday, February 14 and will re-open Wednesday, February 19 at 8 a.m.

Virtual Urgent Care is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily (Mon.-Sun.), even when the emergency dept. is closed. Patients accepted for Virtual Urgent Care appointments up to 60 minutes before closing.

Eastern Memorial Hospital's emergency dept is closed until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 5. 

Virtual urgent care onsite Monday & Tuesday, 8 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Wednesday - Friday, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.  

Canso Medical Clinic reopens Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. Urgent treatment clinic: Saturday, Mar. 1 & Sunday, Mar. 2.

The emergency department at Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston will be closed:

  • Friday, Feb. 14 from 4 p.m. to Monday, Feb. 17 at 10 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Feb. 19 from 7 a.m. to Thursday, Feb. 20 at 10 a.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 21 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Soldiers Memorial Hospital emergency department is OPEN 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays in February. 

Virtual Urgent Care is open, even when the emergency department is closed, at these times: Mon. to Fri. 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sat. & Sun. 8a.m. to 4 p.m.
