Emergency Department

The Guysborough Memorial Hospital emergency department will be temporarily closed from Saturday, June 6 from 6 p.m. and will reopen on Sunday, June 7 at 7 a.m.

Virtual Care will also be unavailable during this time.

The Hants Community Hospital emergency department in Windsor is temporarily closed and will reopen on Sunday, June 7 at 8 a.m.

Virtual urgent care is available from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. during this closure.

Fishermen's Memorial Hospital emergency department is open from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (closing at noon) daily from Saturday, June 6 to Friday, June 12.

Virtual Urgent Care is available from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily, even when the emergency department is closed.

Digby General Hospital emergency department is closed from 4 p.m. Sunday, June 7 until Tuesday, June 9 at 8 a.m.

Virtual Urgent Care is available from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily, even when the emergency department is closed.

The Glace Bay Hospital emergency department is closed on Monday, June 8 and will reopen at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9. 

Virtual urgent care is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday. 

Roseway Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, June 8 at 8 a.m.

Virtual Urgent Care is available from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. daily, even when the emergency department is closed.

The Strait Richmond Hospital emergency department will be closed from 10 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 until 8 a.m. on Monday, June 8. 

Eastern Memorial Hospital emergency department is temporarily closed and will reopen on Monday, June 8 at 12 p.m. 

Virtual urgent care is available onsite Thursday to Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. 

The All Saints Springhill Hospital Collaborative Emergency Centre (CEC) is temporarily closed. 

Virtual urgent care will be available onsite daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. even when the CEC is closed.
