I need a COVID-19 test for travel

Nova Scotia Health provides free PCR COVID-19 testing help people access medication and treatment, if needed. We do not provide COVID-19 testing for those needing documentation of their results for outbound travel. If you need specific documentation for travel purposes you will need to contact a private company to arrange testing.

If you are an international visitor (or do not have a health card from a Canadian Province or Territory), we are not able to provide documentation of your test results.

Healthcertain offers fee-based travel testing in Nova Scotia.

Various pharmacies throughout Nova Scotia offer fee-based rapid antigen travel testing (not PCR). For more information visit the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia website: pans.ns.ca/pharmacyCOVIDtesting
